UNA series ball float steam traps remove condensate from steam, cold condensate, or distillates without banking up. These steam traps use a low-friction rolling ball seal to guarantee durability and maximum tightness.
The UNA series provide a tight shut-off and an automatic fast-acting venting. They are corrosion resistant and insensitive to dirt. The ball float design prevents any banking-up of condensate even with extreme load and pressure fluctuations. The UNA series steam traps are also unaffected by back-pressure and condensate temperature. They will perform even when the back pressure is nearly 100% of upstream pressure. The design also allows for a water seal to form and no live steam is lost during operation.
The UNA series features a thermostatic element to bleed the air bubbles that might have entered your steam lines.
They are repairable in-line.
