The MK series is a membrane-regulated thermostatic steam trap effective for condensate removal or air-venting applications. The uniquely designed thermostatic capsule exhibits unmatched control precision in discharging condensate. This feature allows the MK series to be a highly responsive steam trap for draining heating processes or fast-acting air venting applications.

Apart from the extremely fast response of the thermostatic capsule, the Mk series has a lot to offer. First, the membrane Hastelloy film makes it extremely durable. In addition, to ensure the longest possible service life of the Mk series, Gestra has come up with 3 different types of capsules to perform and last in every application. The inner parts of the MK series are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. By design, the steam trap function is non influenced by upstream or back pressure and can be installed in any orientation. This steam trap does not waste steam during normal operation.
