The BK series is a thermostatic bimetallic steam trap effective for condensate removal or air-venting applications. Gestra uniquely designed bimetallic thermostatic element allows the steam trap to be highly responsive, very efficient, and extremely durable.
The BK series functioning principle makes it perfectly suitable for start-ups. It also does not allow any steam to be lost in the condensate. Those steam traps are suitable for pressure up to 275 bar. The inner parts of the BK series are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel which makes it able to cope with the harshest operating conditions. The BK series is installation orientation insensitive. A stage nozzle is available for non-return valve action. To make maintenance easier, the thermostatic bimetallic steam traps can be serviced while keeping the body on the line.
