The Quartz monitors and reports valve position with visual indicator and signals to your controller.It is available with 4-20 position feedback signal. The position monitor is FM, CSA and CENELEC approved for hazardous areas. The Stainless steel and epoxy anodized aluminium enclosure options allow this position monitor to be used in heavy washdown environments. It optionaly features two high intensity red and green LED to instantly confirm valve position localy. Choose between 3-wire PNP/NPN. NAMUR sensors, or SST switching. The Quartz is also available with different communication modules including AS-Interface, Foundation Fieldbuss, and DeviceNet.

They are available in different verions:

• QG version – General purpose

Clear Lexan™ cover with mechanical switches. Type NEMA 4, 4X and 6 enclosure.

• QX version – Explosion roof

Explosion proof, water tight and corrosion-resistant enclosure approved for use in hazardous areas Div. 1/Zone 1. Available enclosure material include stainless steel and epoxy coated anodized aluminium.

• QN version – Intrinsically safe

Non-incendive approved for use in hazardous areas Div. 2/Zone 2 with proximity sensors and clear cover. Non-explosionproof aluminium cover available. Instrinsically safe NAMUR sensors or passive switches are available for use in Div1/Zone 0 environments.

• QC version – Low temperature

Explosionproof to use in low temprature Div. 1/Zone 1 hazardous environments. Available enclosure material include stainless steel and epoxy coated anodized aluminium.
