Description

Neles™ VD Series diaphragm linear actuators are spring return and are designed for use in both control and on/off service. These actuators offer a very long service life and are suitable for operating linear valves with small to medium thrust requirements. They offer robust and reliable operation and are suitable for many types of applications. The high-performance internal coating resists wear and corrosion, and replaceable internal parts ensure long service life.

The VD series can be used for fail close or fail open service and is easily reversible in the field.

The involute rolling diaphragm allows long travel with minimal friction and excellent linearity without expensive hardware usually associated with diaphragm actuators. The rugged one piece yoke, pressed steel diaphragm case, and nylon reinforced diaphragm provide dependable and high trust performance.
