Description
Neles™ VB series double acting and spring return piston linear actuators are designed for use in both modulating control and on/off service. These actuators offer a very long service life and are suitable for operating linear valves requiring medium to high thrust. They offer robust and reliable operation and are suitable for many types of applications. The high-performance internal coating resists wear and corrosion, and replaceable internal parts ensure long service life.
The VBC is a double acting actuator while the VBR/D are spring return actuators. VBR would be selected for air fail to close and VBD for air fail to open. The VBC can achieve air fail-safe mode with its built-in volume chamber or via an external volume tank. The built-in volume chamber provides the actuator one stroke to reach its fail mode position.
