The Dräger Polytron 5100 EC is a cost-effective, explosion-proof transmitter designed for the continuous detection of toxic gases and oxygen. It uses a high-performance, plug-and-play electrochemical DrägerSensor to detect specific gases with precision and reliability.

• Sensor Technology: Detects over 100 toxic gases and oxygen using long-life electrochemical sensors. Sensors are pre-calibrated and store all configuration data internally.
• Fast Response: Intrinsically safe sensor connection eliminates the need for a flame arrestor, improving response time and sensitivity.
• User Interface: Backlit display shows gas concentration and status. Operated using a magnetic wand. LED indicators (green, yellow, red) provide clear visual alerts.
• Relay Options: Optional three integrated relays allow standalone operation with two concentration alarms and one fault alarm. External devices like alarms or lights can be triggered locally.
• Remote Sensor Capability: Sensor can be installed up to 30 meters away from the transmitter using an intrinsically safe connection. No conduit required.
• Housing: Explosion-proof enclosure available in epoxy-coated aluminum or stainless steel. Rated for Class I, Div. 1 hazardous locations and IP65/66/67 protection.
