Marie, and Sudbury. This strategic acquisition reinforces Everest’s commitment to delivering best-in-class automation solutions and technical support to industrial and municipal customers throughout the province.

Everest and Sylvan have shared a long-standing relationship dating back to the early 2000s, when both companies began representing Neles (Jamesbury) valve technologies. Over the years, each organization grew into a respected leader in instrumentation and control valve solutions—Sylvan in Ontario, and Everest in Quebec and Atlantic Canada.
As of September 10th, Everest Automation has also been appointed exclusive representative for ABB’s full instrumentation portfolio across Ontario, complementing its existing representation of ABB’s Process Analytical line since 2018. This expanded offering positions Everest to meet the majority of instrumentation and control needs in the region with unmatched technical depth and coverage.
Customers of Sylvan Automation will continue to receive the same high-quality service, technical expertise, and product support they’ve come to expect—now enhanced by Everest’s broader automation portfolio and national infrastructure. Everest customers will benefit from expanded local presence and access to Sylvan’s valve automation and service capabilities.
Sylvan’s facilities in Oakville, Sarnia, and Sault Ste. Marie will continue to operate with local inventory, sales support, and service teams, now under the Everest Automation banner. Combined with Everest’s existing office in Sudbury and five locations across Quebec and Atlantic Canada, this acquisition creates a unified organization with the strongest technical team in the country.
