Description

REXA Xpac Series 3 rotary actuator provides reliable and precise quarter turn actuation with a simple rack and pinion design driven by an Electraulic™  power module. The Xpac Series 3 linear actuator features a double acting hydraulic cylinder driven by an Electraulic™ power module. The Electraulic™ actuators are designed to provide the stability and power of hydraulic actuation without the routine maintenance paired with the simplicity of electric actuation. The Xpac series 3 features superior positioning control well suited for critical applications. It delivers position accuracy and reliability even in the most severe process conditions in harsh environments. Thanks to the power of Electraulic™ actuator Xpac series 3 features an exceptional torque range from 2500 to 1 500 000 in-lb for rotary actuator and 2000 to 275 000 lbf thrust with 3/4 to 120 inches stroke length. Higher thrust and stroke range available upon request. They can be fit on most valve brands and sizes.

It consits of 2 major parts, the mehcanical and electrical sub-assemblies. The electrical sub-assembly benifits from a dedicated microprocessor and contains the power supplies and the motor drivers. The mechanical sub-assembly is designed with a double-acting hydraulic cylinder or a rack and pinion hydraulic cylinder, a position feedback sensor and the Electraulic™ power module. The Electraulic™ power module consits of a 100% duty-cycle motor, a bi-directional gear pump, and flow matching valves. This design offers a closed-loop, positive pressure hydraulic system which eliminates the need for active reservoir.
